We are making headway with the degree show branding for UWE, with a potential printed invite finished, advertisements signed off and progress made with interactive website.

Myself and the team working on the degree show branding presented our concept and final designs to a board of UWE officials just the other day. This was the final stage of the project in reference to any changes so its full steam ahead all the way to the deadline now.

Above is the printed guidelines and presentation outline that we produced for our audience.

Thanks very much to everyone at thomas.matthews for giving me the opportunity to complete a work placement with you. My time at thomas.matthews was full of exciting projects and hectic days which made for a great experience, topped of with a couple off beers at the end.

On other news, I have been awarded membership to the International Society of Typographic Designers on the back of a recent submission. This is great news and funnily enough means I could have MISTD after my name if I wanted to.

After a productive (thomas.matthews) easter holiday I am back to work in Bristol, tying up loose ends, completing projects one of which is The Art Club, in collaboration with David Gibson (Image of plan above) which will end up being a fairly comprehensive document that records our process as well as containing issues around the subject of creativity in schools.

This week I am working for Thomas.Matthews in London whilst busying myself in the evenings with my personal project work in the evenings. At Thomas.Matthews I've been working on some exciting stuff and so far it has been a really interesting experience working alongside some talented people.

I thought I'd post an arbitrary image of my desk for your viewing pleasure seeing as there is not a lot else to post at moment.

There is plenty of work in progress going on though, I am compiling an archival self promotional package with some special print finishes including die cutting and foils, as well as continuing work with Redland Green School which myself and Jason Lewer will be completing with guidance from City ID.

Eyam — a book of expectation is also under way now with photography on site complete and gathering of essays soon to be finished. Check back soon for more.
